2016 scottish artist Susan Philipsz made a specific sound installation for Kunsthaus Bregenz: Night and Fog. The title is refering to the film »Night and Fog«, which documented the deportations to the concentration camps of Auschwitz and Majdanek. The composer of the film music was Hanns Eisler. Philipsz deconstructed the soundtrack of the film and created a breathtaking sound scape in Kunsthaus Bregenz and the Jewish Cemetery in Hohenems.
